STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJAC0 — Multiple crashes that shut down lanes in both directions of Route 322 Wednesday have reopened.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the first crash happened sometime around 8 a.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes near the College Avenue exit.
Another crash was reported two hours later in the westbound lanes near Oak Hall and Lemont, according to PennDOT.
The first crash resulted in the death of a 47-year-old Bellefonte man.
The route was shut down for several hour and reopened just after 1 p.m.
